DESCRIPTION:Come join End of Life Options Colorado and celebrate May as Older Americans Month! The Office on Aging hosts its annual spring community event! The Answers on Aging Fair combines education\, awards\, and community connection for adults 60 years and older\, caregivers\, and anyone who wants to plan for their future. \nThe fair will be located at the Pedersen Toyota Center\, formerly known as the First National Bank Building. Admission and parking are free. No pre-registration is required! \nAnticipated schedule of events will include: \n\n12:30 p.m. – Community fair opens for attendees to walk around. Over 80 community resources and organizations will be in attendance!\n1-1:45 p.m. – Self-Compassion for Caregivers\, a workshop hosted by Heather Zoccali\, founder of Brutally Beautiful\n2-2:45 p.m. – Older American Month Awards\n3-3:45 p.m. – Planning for Your Future: Understanding Financial Powers of Attorney and Medicaid Long Term Care\, a presentation by Tanya Fairweather of Colorado Legal Services and Kat Laws with UCHealth’s Aspen Club\n4 p.m. – Event ends
