For Clinicians

Need help?

Our experts are here to mentor and coach clinicians working with patients and families in executing their end-of-life wishes especially in circumstances where medical aid-in-dying (MAiD) is being considered.  Let us know your questions, your concerns, and your resource needs.  We will help you find the resources you need to be confident and compassionate in the care of your patients.

If you are a clinician working with a patient requesting MAiD, but are unable to provide this service for your patient, please let us know and we will work with you and your patient to find the most appropriate referral option.

In the meantime, check out these wonderful resources provided by the American Clinicians Academy on Medical Aid in Dying.

Want to help other clinicians?

We need you!  Despite the passing of Colorado’s End of Life Option Act in 2016 we know that many Colorado patients and clinicians are still unable to access MAiD and other end-of-life choices when they are facing terminal illness.  If you have expertise and interest in medical aid-in-dying services, your fellow clinicians need your help!  Let us know if you are accepting referrals for direct services, can mentor a colleague, serve as a consulting or attending physician or can provide direct bedside support for patients.  It takes a village to make sure that all Coloradans have access to compassionate and excellent end-of-life care, and we need you to be part of that village.
